Data bandwidth and recording time
On-board recording is controlled by the device's memory mode. See the SiFi Bridge CLI's Configure the device section for how to set it, and Export data to file for retrieving recordings afterwards.
How much data a device produces depends on which sensors are enabled and their sampling rates.
For a BioPoint recording to on-board memory (memory mode device or both), this determines
how long it can record on its own before its memory fills up.
Use the calculator below to estimate the maximum recording time for a BioPoint, or the streaming data bandwidth for a SiFiBand, which has no on-board storage and streams data only. The calculator starts from SiFi Bridge's default configuration.
- ECGHz
- EMGHz
- EDAHz
- IMUHz
- PPGHz
- TemperatureHz
Maximum recording time≈ 15 h 22 min
- Data rate
